Right click a blank expanse of the Taskbar and select News and Interest > Turn off or uncheck Open on hover.

NOTE: This reply only gives the tutorial to Hibernate it, not REMOVE it.
Right-click the taskbar (other than the app icons), cull News and Interests from the context carte du jour, click Hide / similar push.

Sorry, I don't even know what you hateful by "taskbar". Where exactly do I click to terminate this horrible intrusion? Information technology is SO abrasive to be reading something else and this junk pops up and cannot be airtight.

It really grinds me when the computer nerds decide they know all-time what I desire - they don't - and this Microsoft popup is 1 of the most irritating I've encountered, because information technology is so hard to get off the screen. Clicking elsewhere does Non assistance.
And when I get on Microsoft Border, it talks to me in Norwegian ... since I'm living in Norway it assumes I understand Norwegian which I don't, much ... but doesn't say how to alter the linguistic communication ... my next inquiry.
I've gotten MicEd to change the language, but the screen doesn't show me where to disabile the popup as described above.

Yous can easily disable the pop up by right clicking on the taskbar and going to News & Interests, then click Turn Off

At that place IS STILL NO 'x' to close it when it accidently pops upward. Fifty-fifty if its supposed to disappear when the mouse leaves, it doesnt! Thankfully i disabled information technology completely now considering it was incommunicable to close manually. Billions of dollars, thousands of programmers, and simple useability issues like this?
